I was looking for a cheap but loud pa/karaoke system that didn't require being plugged into a main socket. As I wanted something I could use in a sports hall to play some music for my junior football team. Only had it a day but very very happy. Easy to link up to my phone/Spotify via blue tooth. Battery lasted a good few hours. And main reason I picked this speaker was because it was quoted at 100w were others in similar price bracket were a low 5-10w. Very happy and would recommend.

First off the light effects on this look really cool.
The sound quality is pretty decent and the mics give a decent output.
I tend to use this just for vocals as I already have a decent audio setup already and so that is used for the karaoke songs and this little machine is for vocals.
I seem to have one probably with it and it's that my Sony Xperia 1 ii mobile when connected to the Bluetooth to play audio from my phone to the vocalstar it just crackles, cuts out and it's just awful for about a good 10 minutes or so then it seems to work alright.
My partner's Sony Xperia 10 connect's to it fine and plays audio straight away no problems so it's a bit of a strange one.
Overall though good little machine for some home karaoke nights and looks really cool with the lights

Kareoke machine light display impressive. Good volume, does go very loud. Sound quality for music could be clearer but for the price not too bad. I use a Bose speaker for music or through the TV and just use the kareoke machine for the mics. Great fun. I had a problem with the plug in mic I contacted the customer services, received a prompt very friendly and helpful reply and a replacement mic. Excellent very happy.

We got this for a house party. So simple to use and powerful for its size. Just use YouTube for your backing song and lyrics and the vocal star for your lights and mics! Perfect.

First off we all love the speaker, I have kids that love to perform shows for us and sing and dance and this is right up their street. I’ve got a professional quality condenser mic myself but the kids need me to use it with my mixer so this has let them sing away on their own. The lights on the speaker are really good, the patterns are great and it co era the whole speaker, I was surprised but the light weight of it which makes it easy to carry around.
It is let down slightly by the mics, I maybe being too harsh because I know the sound of a good mic but they lack real clarity and especially the wired one has a lot of background hiss, the wireless one seems better, it’s good for karaoke and for the kids but it’s no good for recording anything.
The wireless one takes a couple of batteries and rechargeable ones work and last a good few hours but you can recharge the mic you have to do the batteries separately.
The Bluetooth function is easy and is standard with most things now and no surprises with it, the controls on the top are medium quality, with the light weight and price there are obviously some draw backs and you can feel it in the build quality in things like the controls that feel budget and not like a mini big name practice amp or the like.
The you tube karaoke is pretty good actually and the kids have really taken to it, failing that any song can be played through the Bluetooth and there isn’t any noticeable latency so all in all works great as a kids, or adults for that matter, party.
For the price and what you get it’s a good deal really, shame the mics are a little better.

Unboxed this and it is all fairly self explanatory but there are reasonably easy instructions to follow.
I signed up to vocal star in YouTube and away we went, (well not me personally I'm can't sing won't sing).
This is really very good in my opinion, plenty of flashing lights, simply Bluetooth to your phone, tablet, laptop or smart TV.
Has echo adjustment for the mike's, equaliser where you can choose various support such pop or jazz etc.
It came charged and has around 4 hrs use time once charged but you can use it while charging.
The wired Mike has a very long lead,(not tried the cordless Mike yet).
Personally I'm not a karaoke person but the family love it at Xmas and at gatherings.
Genuinely think this is great.

My microphone will not connect
Please switch the unit and microphone off. Check batteries are in the wireless microphone and than the cables are connected corrected on the cabled microphone. Turn the main unit on, followed by the microphone/s. Check the master volume and microphone volume is turned up. If it is still not working, complete the contact us form for further support.
The sound is low / no sound
When connected via Bluetooth the sound is controlled by your Vocal-Star product, but also the device you have connected to the Vocal-Star product (Phone, TV, Tablet ect). You will find that by turning up the volume on your connected device, that this will also increase the volume on your Vocal-Star product.
My Bluetooth will not connect
This is a very common issue which is almost always because another device is already connected. The Vocal Star product can only be connected to one device at a time, so if you connect one device (eg your phone) and then try to connect another device (eg your iPad) it will not work, you first need to go into the Bluetooth settings on your first device and disconnect from the Vocal Star product.
My microphones are cutting out
The first thing to try when wireless microphones are having problems is to change the batteries, batteries do not last long in microphones because of the type of signal they are sending so changing the batteries often solves the problem. Please ensure to use good quality "alkaline" batteries rather than rechargeable. Even if the microphone is coming on, there might not be enough power to reliably transmit audio.
My battery is not holding charge for very long
You will need to charge the product when it is not in use. Using lights and bluetooth will drain the battery faster, as will the volume you are using the product at. Recharge your batteries before they are completely dead. Not letting it die completely will extend the battery lifespan. If you are preparing to store your batteries for a period of time, make sure you do so at half charge. Unlike other types of batteries that need to be recharged throughout their storage time, lithium batteries do better at 40%-50% DOD (depth of discharge). Batteries will reduce in performance over time and use. It is important to follow the advice on looking after and maintaining batteries.
